Euro-Metal Ain't For Posers!

Well, at least not anymore. This is DragonForce, I recently got turned on to this band and I must say that from a musicians stand point, these guys are freakin' wicked! The drums alone wear me out just trying to follow along in my head. These aren't just run of the mill musicians either, they are well versed and actually have some pretty impressive street cred in the music industry. Hear are just a few songs off their album Inhuman Rampage. WARNING: This ain't for delicate ears, as in Bon Jovi being the hardest stuff you listen to. You've been warned.

Through the Fire and the Flames

Operation Ground and Pound

The last 2 minutes of this video are the best. This is coming from someone who doesn't like anything that has currently been put out by the music industry.

Actually, the last 2 minutes on BOTH are great and on that last one, the key-tar is back! This band has been out since '99 I believe, can't believe I missed them, but then again I haven't tuned into a radio station for nearly a decade and only recently I got XM.

Fuuny you should mention the TSO. If you like them, you should check out some samples of John Oliva's Pain. It's a side project from his actual band Savatage, which also a great band. One of TSO's main composers is John Oliva and he recruits people out of his band and other bands like Testament to do TSO albums and tours. If you check out John Oliva's Pain, see if you come across the same theory I did as to some coincidences in his choices of Band recriuts, song titles, etc...
